At Marchants the Steel Mostly used for Maufacturing is Raw steel as we can roll it bend it make jigs to fabricate patterns or even use a Thermal cutter to design a pattern all of the scrolls and forged pickets are in raw steel. After choosing a design and fabricating it to the sizes required for the Staircase Balustrade Balcony Gate Fencing or Door if it is Internal the Project will be Sandblasted and Powder Coated If the project is External It Will be Hot Dipped Galvanised and Pre Treated to Australian standard 4506 and then Powder Coated. At Marchants the Hammered sections used stand out well and even better with a Patina finish after Powder Coating in Black Texture a Gold Patina will really add a Luxurious Look to the metal of your Balustrade. Components

If you have a flair for DIY we can help with Wrought Iron components. We stock a wide range of Spears, Scrolls, Pickets, Handrail, Twisted Bar, Hammered Bar, End Scrolls, and Final Posts and can forge what you may choose to do that is different. All of these come in solid steel and are also in raw steel so you can weld with them to put in fences, gates, or any steel work you may want to do. All the pickets are .900 high all the twisted bar and handrail are in 6 meter lengths. At Marchants we can twist to whatever your project needs it may be a 1200 length with a 500 twist in the middle or a 250 twist top and bottom whatever your size needed we can do. We also stock the Profile Handrail in a 114 A/3 in 6 meter Lengths, with end scrolls to match.
